Set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi is tasked with a new mission while hiding from inquisitors, and without the knowledge that his apprentice Anakin Skywalker is still alive. In this new Disney + series, we delve back into the era of the prequels before A New Hope, and I cannot be happier to be returning!

This is being helmed by director Deborah Chow, who is a well-known Star Wars director for The Mandalorian and is a mentee to the Star Wars streaming creative team of Jon Favreau and Dave felony. She was the perfect choice to reintroduce us not only to legacy characters like Obi-Wan, and Darth Vader, but we also have expanded storylines from the animated shows, new characters, and a different tone than what we’ve seen from Star Wars.

First Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan is incredible. Even his face acting in the first two episodes currently available speaks to where his character has come from to now. Jedi are still being hunted, and The Empire may be at its most powerful moment in the timeline. I don’t want to reveal too much else other than this is a MUST-WATCH for any Star Wars fan, and I cannot wait to talk more in detail about what’s in this wonderful series.
