‘The Addams Family 2’ sends them on a road trip where Gomez attempts to win over his daughter Wednesday Addams. Very similar story to the recent animated film ‘The Mitchells vs. The Machines’ The Addams Family will have to face their personal differences in order to take down a much larger threat, in an animated film that missed the mark completely.

I’ll be honest, I hated almost everything about this movie. They’ve made this iconic family ‘The Incredibles’ with a spooky twist. It’s not only unnecessary, dull, and unimaginative , but it takes away everything special about this property.

The animation is laughably weird as far as how they choose to portray the characters. I would pay cash to have this be live-action but whoever runs this property is keen on only profiting from the superhero genre, rather than tell a coherent story.

Overall, ‘The Addams Family 2’ isn’t worth the time to watch in my opinion. If you want your kids to know what The Addams Family was rent the original and leave this in the bargain bin where it belongs.

Rating: 1.5 out of 5.
